Blogging Tips
Since a couple of you have been able to get on I thought I would post some information to help get around and get comfortable with the new blog world.
2 main pages or sites
The main page is the page found at www.holst-family.blogspot.com and should be where you are reading this post from. This page is the Blog itself. This is where you can read all the posts that have been made including viewing the pictures. The 2nd page that you will use is called the dash board. This is where you need to go to create posts. It also is a site that will list all the blogs you may belong to. The address to this page is www.blogger.com it can also be accessed from the main blog page by clicking the word Blogger in the top left hand corner. To post you simply click on the Green + beside the holst family blog name. Once you type your post and upload pictures (if you want) you click Publish Post. This will take you to a new page where you than must click on Repulish entire blog. Your post will than be on the blog for us all to see and comment to. As we post more and more posts they will just be in order down the page and you can scroll down to read all new ones. Every once in a while I will archive them and they will be than under the archive section. More hints and info later......................
Use the comments section on this post for any questions you have about using the Blog and I will answer them in the comments as well. The little number in front of the word comments indicated how many comments have been made.

The program allows me to put in a title for a Post but doesn't give me a cursor to type in my information. Am I missing something?
It's working now. Ken did you have to do somwthing to allow me the write option?
Ken – would it be possible to send another invitation to my email address in Mom’s name – that way I can log in with her name to leave messages and they will have her name attached to them?
